Scotty is a retired U.S. Navy veteran who served nearly 16 years before honorably discharging from the military. After navigating the challenges of medical retirement and major life changes, he decided to pursue legal licensure through the Virginia Law Reader Program, an apprenticeship-based alternative to traditional law school. His goal is to serve Christ in both his personal and professional life while building a second career in law and business. He had the privilege of being a student under Ty Woods—Ty and Glen courageously died together in Benghazi.
