14th Annual Glen Doherty Memorial 5K/10K Road Race
General Info:
The Annual Glen Doherty Memorial 5K/10K Road Race will take place again this September - we're hosting this race to support our GDMF Scholars and honor hometown hero Glen Doherty! Proceeds from this event go towards our Scholarship Fund so we can support our Special Operations Community to get the education or professional training they need to transition to new careers.
You can run, walk or ruck! Join a team or start a new one!
Race t-shirts are FREE to the first 500 in person registered participants and available for purchase for others during bib pick up times. Other merchandise available for purchase as well. Participants are strongly encouraged to pick up bibs on Saturday to avoid race day lines!
Registration Pricing (Walk, Run or Ruck):
Early bird registration through July 10: $35 for Adults | $25 for Kids (under 18)
Registration through September 18 at 8PM: $45 for Adults | $25 for Kids (under 18)
*Race weekend: $55 for Adults | $25 for Kids (under 18)
*Registration Race Weekend is on-line! Assistance and computers will be available both Saturday and Sunday if you would like to register in person.

Pricing is the same as above, BUT you must register by end of day, September 9th in order for us to ship you your bib!

Sunday, September 20th at 12PM
Race starts in front of the Winchester Town Hall (71 Mount Vernon St), immediately after a few words from GDMF President (and Glen's sister) Kate Doherty Quigley, a GDMF scholar and our national anthem.

FREE race t-shirts to 1st 500 registered participants
T-shirts and other merch will also be available for purchase race weekend, at bib pick up times.
Route
We are using the same route as 2024 & 2025 - check out the map!

10K participants will run this loop
twice!
Parking
Street parking is available in downtown Winchester and in the lots by the Winchester Center MBTA station, McCall Middle School and Winchester High School.
