2025 TEAM GDMF
-
Tom Cotter
Though not in the military himself, Tom's dad was in the Navy during the Cuban Missile crisis. Tom currently works at Joint Base Cape Cod as an electrician for the Massachusetts Army and Air National Guard. He works alongside men and women in uniform and sees the dedication of their service every day; he sees his running in honor of Glen and others in uniform as a privilege.
"Thank you for contributing to this Great Foundation, this will be my 2nd year running it. The men and women of the Special Operators deserve the best once their commitment is up so they can live a prosperous life!"
-
Katie Doherty
Glen’s cousin, Katie, is honored to run her first Falmouth Road Race in support of the Glen Doherty Memorial Foundation, which holds a uniquely special place in her heart. She remembers Glen as the beloved best friend, devoted son and brother, and the vibrant soul who left an irreplaceable hole in the hearts of all who loved him. She is passionately committed to honor his legacy and support the incredible veterans who serve our country.

Donahue FamilyList Item 4
Kristin and Tom are founders of the GDMF and both sit on the Board. Kristin has captained teams for both the Falmouth Road Race and Boston Marathon. This is her 13th year in fundraising. She is joined by her speedster kiddos Maggie, Drew & Conor. For the Donahues, GDMF has always been a family affair!
-
Louise & Tony Donlon
Winchester natives Louise and Tony have been unwavering supporters of the Glen Doherty Memorial Foundation (GDMF) since its founding, honoring their fathers who served in the Navy and Marines. They are annual participants of the GDMF Road Race every September in Wilmington. While both are seasoned runners in the Falmouth Road Race, this will be their first year running as part of Team GDMF. Their dedication to the foundation’s mission is evident, and they are currently on the planning committee for the upcoming Glen Doherty Memorial Wrestling Tournament, set for December 13 at Winchester High School. We are incredibly grateful for Louise and Tony’s continued commitment to the GDMF community!
-
Joseph Kelly
Joseph is honored to be running the Falmouth Road Race in support of the Glen Doherty Memorial Foundation. Though he did not know Glen personally, his story and sacrifice resonates with him as a fellow combat veteran, also from the Winchester community. Joseph cares deeply about the mission of GDMF and is proud to be running in Glen’s honor. He is grateful for the opportunity to carry forward Glen’s spirit of service and commitment.
-
Michelle Marshall
Michelle is honored to run the 2025 Falmouth Road Race in support of the Glen Doherty Memorial Foundation. Her husband attended school with Glen, and as a Winchester resident, Michelle shares in the pride of honoring his dedication, strength, and bravery. Celebrating Glen’s legacy through GDMF’s mission and supporting the special operations community is a cause close to her heart.
-
Murphy Stathos Family
The Murphy Stathos family are all in for Team GDMF! Alice and Phil have been long time supporters of the GDMF having run with Team GDMF in the past. Alice also ran with Team GDMF NYC in 2023! We greatly appreciate their loyal support for the foundation. Best of luck to Alice, Phil, Cam and Nic this year!
-
Erica & Emily Parrell
This mother-daughter duo has teamed up for the 2025 Falmouth Road Race! Erica is a seasoned Falmouth runner, returning for her 12th race, while her daughter Emily is lacing up for her very first as a proud member of Team GDMF. They’re running in honor of their stepfather and grandfather, a Vietnam Veteran, in support of veterans transitioning back into civilian life. They were also inspired by the powerful novel The Women by Kristin Hannah, which highlights the overlooked struggles of Vietnam War nurses and their battles with PTSD and reintegration into life after the war.
-
Brooke Schofield
Brooke is looking forward to raising awareness and funding for our scholars as a second-time Team GDMF Falmouth member! She has also participated in the Annual Glen Doherty Memorial 5K/10K Road Race ever since hearing about it from a family friend in Arlington. It has become a family event that has grown each year. Brooke finds the scholar speech that kicks off the race to be a huge inspiration.
-
Sean Tomaszewski
Sean is proud to run the Falmouth Road Race for the Glen Doherty Memorial Foundation, honoring Glen’s legacy and supporting its mission to ease military personnel’s transition into civilian life. Deeply connected to the military, Sean’s grandfather served, and several of his close friends and college teammates are now SEALs. His participation reflects his lifelong respect for military service and his dedication to giving back.
