Jordan Goldstein
Jordan joins us from Atlanta, Georgia to run her first marathon as a proud member of Team GDMF. Moved by Glen’s story and the courageous sacrifice of the servicemembers in Benghazi, she was inspired to follow the mission of GDMF and felt a deep calling to run in honor of those who served our country.

Shannon Maguire
After participating in the GDMF Road Race last September, Shannon was deeply moved by the mission of the GDMF and the strong sense of community surrounding it. An avid marathoner from Woburn, MA, she felt compelled to lend her miles to a greater purpose—raising funds and awareness in honor of her veteran brother-in-law and all those who have served.

Christina Ursul
Christina is intimately connected to and a generous supporter of GDMF through the stories of her friend and neighbor, a GDMF board member who grew up with Glen. She also knew the very first recipient of a GDMF scholarship. As an avid runner, Christina is eager to travel from Gloucester, MA and dedicate the miles of her first marathon to a cause she is deeply passionate about.

Ian Woods
Ian will be traveling from Buffalo to run his second marathon of 2025, proudly representing GDMF. He’s dedicating his run to Glen and to the courageous men and women who lead our nation’s most dangerous missions—honoring their service, sacrifice, and strength every step of the way.
About Team GDMF NYC 2026!
We have 5 charity bibs for the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon scheduled for Sunday, November 1, 2026. As of today our Team is FULL!
Our goal is to hit $50,000 to provide scholarships to members of our Special Operations Community, like Glen. Glen was a former Navy SEAL, killed in Benghazi, Libya when our American Consulate was attacked by terrorists. We established the Foundation to honor Glen, his love for life and dedication to this country.
THE GOAL
- To raise $40,000 for the Glen Doherty Memorial Foundation and in true Glen fashion, bring together great people for a good time!
