Tobias P.

Army - Active Duty

University of Virginia Darden School of Business - MBA

Tobias is an Infantry Officer in the U.S. Army, currently serving as Executive Officer for a Light Infantry Battalion in the 10th Mountain Division. He has led over 100 soldiers, managed $20 million in equipment, and deployed to Syria, where he commanded an 18-person platoon and coordinated the engagement of more than 20 hostile threats. These experiences reinforced his commitment to leadership, accountability, and mission-focused teamwork.

He is pursuing an MBA with the goal of entering consulting and working at the intersection of defense, technology, and international development. Tobias aims to leverage emerging technologies, like AI and satellite internet, to address infrastructure and stability challenges in hard-to-reach areas. This scholarship would support his graduate education and connect him to a community of veterans continuing to lead with purpose in civilian life.
