Seth Lindstrom
NavySEAL - 11.5 years
Stanford University, MBA
Born on a Navy base in Jacksonville, Florida, Seth Lindstrom is a third-generation Navy veteran. After graduating from the University of Florida with a Mechanical Engineering degree, he completed BUD/S with Class 316 and served eleven years as a SEAL officer, deploying to Iraq, across the Indo-Pacific, and aboard a submarine. His specialty was combat diving and undersea technology: throughout his career he advised on 13 innovative undersea technologies, work that taught him the value of equipment built around the operator and the cost when it isn't.
Seth is now pursuing his MBA at Stanford, preparing to lead companies that apply artificial intelligence to maritime defense and make undersea drones smarter and cheaper. Long term, he plans to turn that technology toward ocean conservation, leaving the ocean both safer and healthier and widening the path for the operators-turned-builders who follow him.
