Navy SEAL - 22 years - Active Duty
Regent University - PsyD
Sebastian is a recently retired Navy SEAL pursuing a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (PsyD). After multiple deployments across Iraq, Afghanistan, Africa, and Europe, he is transitioning from military leadership to a career dedicated to mental health advocacy for veterans and first responders. Having lost teammates to suicide after service, he is deeply committed to addressing trauma, post-traumatic stress, and crisis intervention within the veteran community.
Sebastian holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Forensic Psychology from Purdue University Global, maintaining a 4.0 GPA while balancing active-duty deployments and family life. His goal is to become a licensed psychologist, contributing to programs like Virginia’s Marcus Alert initiative and expanding access to crisis response and trauma-informed care. Through this next chapter, Sebastian seeks to apply the discipline, empathy, and resilience honed through his service to help others heal and thrive beyond the military.
