Patrick Michael Murphy

Patrick Murphy is a former U.S. Army Ranger Medic who served for nearly a decade in the 75th Ranger Regiment. During his time in service, he deployed multiple times in support of combat operations, serving in positions ranging from Platoon Medic to Senior Medic of the 1st Ranger Battalion.

Following his transition out of the military, Patrick was accepted to the University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine, where he will begin his training with the goal of becoming a physician in a high-acuity field such as emergency medicine or anesthesiology. He hopes to remain closely connected to the prehospital community and pursue work in global health, focusing on building and improving healthcare systems in resource-limited environments.
