Michael has nearly 20 years of service in the US Navy, including 18 years in the SEAL teams and over eight combat deployments. He has led elite operators in high-stakes environments while pursuing academic growth, completing a Strategic Studies and Defense Analysis degree at Norwich University and becoming a first-generation college graduate.



He is preparing to transition to civilian life and pursue an MBA at Northwestern Kellogg. Michael’s short-term goal is to join a private equity firm, applying his leadership and operational experience to strategy and operations. Long-term, he aims to advance to COO and CEO roles, scaling companies and leading teams with the same discipline and purpose cultivated in the SEAL teams. This scholarship would support his transition and help him carry forward a legacy of service, resilience, and impact.
