James Michael Gallagher

NavySEAL - 10 years

University of Southern California - Master of Business for Veterans (MBA)

James  is a former Navy SEAL with more than ten years of service in Naval Special Warfare. Throughout his military career, he served in a variety of operational, instructional, and leadership capacities, gaining experience leading teams, training personnel, and solving complex problems in high-pressure environments.

James is pursuing a Master of Business for Veterans at the USC Marshall School of Business, where he plans to build a stronger foundation in business, finance, operations, strategy, and leadership. After military service, he is focused on opportunities in product development, business development, and project management, with the long-term goal of owning and operating a business.

James hopes to carry the standards and sense of purpose he developed in the SEAL Teams into his civilian career while remaining connected to the veteran and Special Operations community. Over time, he hopes to help others navigate their own transition, education, and career paths after service.
