Benjamin Waymon Jackson
NavySEAL - 8 + years
Harvard Business School, MBA
Ben is a Navy SEAL officer who will medically retire in August 2026 after eight years of service. A 2018 graduate of the United States Naval Academy, he comes from a family of service: his father served in Iraq, and his grandfather served in Vietnam and Korea.
After completing BUD/S, he served with SEAL Team Three and later SEAL Team Six, where he commanded a 20-member troop at the National Mission Force. He deployed five times to the Middle East and East Africa, directing counterterrorism operations, partnering with allied forces, and leading the development and operational integration of unmanned maritime systems.
A diagnosis of Latent Autoimmune Diabetes in 2025 ended his deployment career, and he is now pursuing an MBA at Harvard Business School. His goal is to work as a program manager at a defense technology company focused on autonomous systems and eventually help shape defense acquisition policy as a senior official.
