We are very excited to be a part of Falmouth's Numbers for Non Profits (NFNP) program for the 2024 ASICS Falmouth Road Race - Team GDMF has 15 bibs again this year! Our team is growing and 5 of our bibs are taken! If you are interested in joining us, please fill out an application - we review applications on a rolling basis and respond in a few days.
Join us on Sunday, August 18th!
Falmouth Road Race bibs are in HIGH demand - only 500 numbers are available to the public, so grab a spot on Team GDMF! Runners receive great gear and the opportunity to run the 7 mile bucolic course from Woods Hole to Falmouth Heights for a great cause!
Each runner is asked to raise a minimum of $1250. Applications will be evaluated on rolling basis and you will be notified of your status within a few days of submitting your application. Please contact us directly if you have any questions.

$25,000
- please help us reach our goal!
Kristin and Tom are founders of the GDMF and both sit on the board as well. Kristin has captained teams for both the Falmouth Road Race and Boston Marathon. This is her 11th year in fundraising. This year, she is joined by her speedster kiddos Maggie, Drew & Conor. For the Donahues, GDMF has always been a family affair!
Andrew is a student at Merrimack College and has run in the Annual Glen Doherty Memorial 5K/10K for several years now, including as part of the Winchester Police Department team, but he is new to Team GDMF Falmouth! As a former high school XC runner, Andrew wanted to be on a team again and contribute to something bigger than himself, to give back and help the men and women who serve our country become re-integrated back into civilian life.
Courtenay and Mark are joining Team GDMF Falmouth all the way from Houston, TX. Glen was a high school classmate of Courtenay's and she has been looking for opportunities to get involved with the GDMF. She and her husband Mark are excited to be able to run with the Team in Falmouth this year!
Brooke has participated in the Annual Glen Doherty Memorial 5K/10K Road Race ever since hearing about it from a family friend in Arlington. It has become a family event that has grown each year. Brooke finds the scholar speech that kicks off the race to be a buge inspiration. She's looking forward to raising awareness and funding for our scholars as a first-time Team GDMF Falmouth member.
Tom noticed the GDMF singlets at Falmouth last year and reached out right away to join this year's team. Though not in the military himself, Tom's dad was in the Navy during the Cuban Missle crisis. Tom currently works at Joint Base Cape Cod as an electrician for the MA Army and Air National Guard. He works alongside men and women in uniform and sees the dedication of their service every day so he sees his running in honor of Glen and others in uniform as a privilege.
Jess, Mike, Wes and Elsie are close friends with the Donahues and volunteer at our annual road race. Mike has also run NYC multiple times for Team GDMF! The Stantons have a long standing family tradition of running the Falmouth Road Race. Last year the whole posse competed and helped Team GDMF meet our fundraising goals.
The Murphy / Stathos are all in for Team GDMF! Phil & Alice recently hosted members of Glen’s family on their sailboat as part of our Glen 10 celebration this spring. We greatly appreciate their annual support for the foundation. Best of luck to Alice, Phil and Nic on August 20!
Our overall goal is to raise $25,000
The Falmouth NFNP will also be promoting giveaways and other incentives to make your fundraising fun and less stressful. All of the proceeds that you raise go to support our Scholarship Fund!
The Foundation pays your registration fee for the guaranteed spots. We would LOVE to have you and your family on Team GDMF Falmouth!
