WE'RE BACK!  For the 8th consecutive year, Team GDMF is tackling Heartbreak hill to provide scholarships for special operations soldiers, like Glen, and their families.  Thanks to our amazing donors, our 6 marathon runners raised $87,522 last April!

We have yet another fabulous team of men and women committed to running 26.2 in honor of Glen.  Please click on the links below and learn more about our dedicated runners.  Make a donation and help us hit our $50,000 goal for 2020!  Thank you!

Brendan is an avid marathoner, member of the Melrose Track Club and has run Boston 5 times.  He has raised funds for charities in the past including Building bridges, Mass Eye & Ear and St. Jude.  Brendan also has family in the military and feels strongly in supporting our cause.

Nora is already a true member of the GDMF family!  She is a distant relative on her dad’s side. Nora is excited to run and raise funds to support her family and the cause. Her brother is currently a sophomore at the Naval Academy, training to be a SEAL.  Nora lives in Braintree, MA.

Duncan is the official military member of Team GDMF Boston!  We are proud to have him represent the armed forces in honor of Glen.  Duncan has run Boston 2 times and has raised funds for the Boston Boys and Girls Club and the Pat Tillman Foundation.  Duncan is willing to sacrifice his time and efforts for something he identifies with, believes in and cares deeply about.

                                    DONATE TO DUNCAN!

An avid marathoner, Jill is taking on her 5th Boston for Team GDMF.  Qualified runners do not have to raise money for a cause, but once again Jill has willingly stepped up to run in honor of Glen!

Kelley hails from a military family.  Her uncles and grandfathers served in the Army and Navy.  Kelley’s dad has continued his service and works in the Braintree Fire Department.  This will be her first marathon!

Brian is BACK for his 2nd Boston on Team GDMF!  Brian is in the Army National Guard and hails from Glen's hometown of Winchester, MA.  Brian's life was profoundly impacted during his senior year at WHS.  We lost Glen in September of 2012 and the city of Boston was rocked by the marathon bombings the following spring.  Brian joined ROTC when he started college as a result of these events.  We are honored that Brian has stepped up again to run in Glen's honor!

Gina is celebrating her 50th birthday in a BIG way, by completing the Abbott World Marathon Majors.  So far Gina has run 4 of the 6 world marathons, taking on Tokyo March 1st, 2020 and Boston on behalf of Team GDMF in April.  We are so excited to have her on the team and cannot wait to celebrate this amazing accomplishment when she crosses the finish line on Boylston Street and receives her 6th star!
