WE'RE BACK! For the 7th consecutive year, Team GDMF is tackling Heartbreak hill to provide scholarships for special operations soldiers, like Glen, and their families. Thanks to our amazing donors, our 7 marathon runners raised $79,137 last April!
We have yet another fabulous team of men and women committed to running 26.2 in honor of Glen. Please click on the links below and learn more about our dedicated runners. Make a donation and help us hit our $80,000 goal for 2019! Thank you!
Andrew is our 1st international runner to join Team GDMF, hailing from London, England. He is looking forward to running his first Boston Marathon.
An avid marathoner, Jill is taking on her 4th Boston for Team GDMF. Qualified runners do not have to raise money for a cause, but once again Jill has willingly stepped up to run in honor of Glen!
Riley is an Army special operations officer currently serving as an instructor, coach, and mentor for cadets at West Point, NY. He's an avid endurance athlete that enjoys everything from adventure racing to road racing in support of veterans and their families. Riley is excited to run his second Boston Marathon in honor of Glen and the veterans the GDMF serves.
Brian was a senior at Winchester High School when Glen was killed. The Boston Marathon bombings followed 7 months later in his senior spring. Both terror attacks hit close to home and had a profound impact on Brian. He joined the military and now serves in the MA Army National Guard. We are honored to have him as our US services representative as he runs in honor of Glen.
Alex grew up in Glen's hometown of Winchester, MA. He graduated from WHS in 2012. Alex's brother, Matt (also in pic) ran for us last year and had such an amazing experience that Alexander decided to join our ranks. He was a Division 3 athlete in college and is taking on his 1st marathon at Boston in honor of Glen.
