The Glen Doherty Memorial Foundation is established to highlight education and recreation. By paying forward Glen's love for learning and passion for igniting the spirit through adventure we hope to bring joy into others lives so that Glen will never be forgotten.
We are a 501(c)(3) charity organization dedicated to honoring and preserving the memory of Glen Doherty and all those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice in defending our nation in the Global War on Terror. On behalf of Glen Doherty, we truly appreciate your generous contritubtion.
Thanks to the support of generous donors The Glen Doherty Memorial Foundation has reached an important milestone. Our goal has always been to protect Glen’s legacy. His story is so important to his friends and family and we never want to forget. Your donations have allowed us to create an endowed scholarship in Glen’s Name in partnership with Scholars First. The endowment was seeded with $250,000 and we will continue to grow this account from events like The Boston Marathon, our Annual Memorial Road Race and Corporate Sponsorships. We are growing and protecting the principle so that the GDMF will forever fund scholarships for Special Operations veterans and their dependents.
